Important Notice: I have replaced the GHS 2009 report and you will notice that the disability percentage on page 19 is lower than the figure previously provided. This is due to the fact that children under 5 years of age were removed from the analysis for reason that disability information provided by the survey was skewed for these age groups. In addition, as part of the regular quality management process and given that the forthcoming census will provide information on the listing of dwellings as well as new content results, we shall begin a process of reviewing the series. Stats SA regret any inconvenience this review might have caused.
